If there is one person who has endured a lot of negativity in the entertainment industry, it is Deloris Frimpong Manso, also known as Delay, host of the Delay Show which airs on GHOne TV.
She has seen it all; from criticisms about her shows, public breakups with her friends (Afia Schwarzenegger, Tornado, Vicky Zugah), insults and accusations from guests to other controversies.

The popular female presenter has revealed how she defied all odds to create her own brand.
While addressing patrons of the 2018 International Youth Empowerment Summit (iYES) conference on Wednesday night at the National Theatre, she stated how her journey in the media has not been easy.
In her speech, the host and producer of the popular Tv show, The Delay Show, indicated how she auditioned for media shows and how she was selected for a radio program but was later rejected.

She reiterated that during her struggles in getting to the top in the media some people labelled her as an ugly and bush girl in the media industry.
She further noted that even though she is happy about her achievements, she would rather want to keep them from the public.
“I am one of the most modest personalities in our industry. I don’t post my cars on social media. I don’t post this and that on social media but I can comfortably say that I’m blessed,” she said.
