Today is a black Thursday for Ghana. A destructive blast at Bogoso in the Western region has killed scores of locals.
The explosion occurred at Apiate between Bogoso and Bawdie in the Western Region this afternoon.

We have received a report from an anonymous source about what triggered the explosion that has cost precious lives of both young and old at Bogoso.
According to the report received, a designated mine explosive truck carrying explosives on the Bogoso main stretch of the road heading towards Ayanfuri, on reaching a town called Apietie just off Bogoso was crossed by a tricycle (pragia).
A motor rider apparently behind clashed and went underneath the explosive truck. This resulted in dragging and scratching of the metallic parts of the tricycle on the road surface.
The tricycle under the Vehicle caught fire which was burning under the truck and consequently causing the explosion.
The explosion brought every building and structure completely flattened in the entire township.

Before the disastrous exploding, the driver then jumped off the turned vehicle running away from the hazard whiles, alarming people who were curious and were taking videos of the incident to run away.
