Prempeh College has kicked out two-time champion Mfantsipim in the 2017 edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz, semi-final clash at the University of Ghana making them arguably the most feared team at this stage of the competition.
Earlier in the competition, Prempeh College broke a record for highest points ever scored and in this semis showed their opponents what they are made of by dominating from the start.

On the day when Muslims celebrate Eid Mubarak, Prempeh College made ‘sallah’ out of their rivals Mfantsipim who never won any of the five rounds.
Mawuli were swept aside throughout the competition and the contest became a photo-finish for the three-time champions who must be satisfied with their sweet victory and revenge after Mfantsipim made them sweat last year at the quarter-final stage.
Prempeh College made it to the finals at the end of the contest by scoring 55 points, Mfantsipim 49 points and Mawuli with 43 points.
