The Alumni of the Presbyterian Boys Senior High School, Legon have raised some concerns over the outcome of the just-ended 2021 National Science and Maths Quiz.
According to the Old Boys (known collectively as Odade3), they were given a “raw deal” which affected the overall performance and the eventual outcomes.
In a statement issued on December 1, 2021, by its Communications Directorate, the Odade3 revealed that they had met the organizers of the NSMQ, Primetime to make their grievances known.
Presec Legon failed to win their 7th NSMQ Trophy after they were beaten by Prempeh College in the final which was hosted at KNUST. Keta SHTS were also at the finals for the first time in the history of the school.
In a nutshell, the Alumni of Presec Legon believe they were not treated fairly at the finals of the NSMQ and demand an immediate and conciliatory redress.
Excerpts of the statement read:
“It was unanimously decided that the school supported by the Alumni should look into the incidents that happened at the event that led to us being given a raw deal.”
