Joey B was signed to D-black’s Black Avenue Muzik label.He was featured on D-Black’s very song which was a massive hit.He even had a song called Strawberry ginger which had an average impact.

With all these, he still wasn’t really recognised until he jumped on a song with Sarkodie titled “Tonga”.
