Elsie A. B. Effah Kaufmann is a biomedical engineer, academic administrator, and current host of the National Science and Math Quiz.
She is from Ghana. Marian Ewurama Addy was the Quiz Mistress from 1993 to 2000, followed by Eureka Emefa Adomako from 2001 to 2005, until Elsie Kaufmann took over in 2006.
At the University of Ghana, Prof. Elsie Effah Kaufmann is an Associate Professor and the department’s first Head of Biomedical Engineering.
