News went viral that Halifax Ansah Addo, the recently appointed Communication Director for Zylofon Cash had given Wisa’s management GHS10,000 to settle the debt to be set free after an Accra Circuit Court found him guilty of indecent exposure and was fined GHC8,4000, with a default sentence of 24 months in prison.

In a tweet to clear the air on Halifax’s GHC10k issue, Wisa posted on his Twitter timeline: “I want to categorically state that my fine was paid by myself, Ceo of my label Black Avenue Music ‘D-Black’ and our friends at the GhanaTourism Authority who supports the creative arts. Zylofon did not pay my fine nor did anyone from Zylofon. My friend Halifax called earlier today to offer assistance as a friend. I’m surprised to see stories flying about tagged Zylofon rescues me and pays my fine. I didn’t even know Halifax as a staff of Zylofon. I knew him as a friend.”

Halifax Ansah Addo was somewhat bored after Wisa denied that he helped him to pay the fine. According to Halifax, he called Wisa when in court and Wisa told him he was struggling to raise the money, the reason why he decided to help as an act of charity.

Well, Wisa has finally opened up on who really paid the court fine.

Speaking on The Zone with KOD on Thursday, May 17, Wisa admitted taking GHC10,000 from Halifax after the court fine was paid by his managers.

“I received GHC10, 000 from Halifax but I didn’t use it to pay the fine but after the fine was paid I tried returning the money to him but he rejected it so I spent it “, Wisa is noted to have stated.
