Stonebwoy, after more than a year of signing to Zylofon Music, says he has no plans of renewing the contract.
Asked by Lexis Bill, in an interview on Behind the Fame on Drive Time on Joy FM, if he is happy at Zylofon Music, Stonebwoy swiftly stated emphatically that he is not happy with his record label Zylofon Music.
“No, No, No, No. How Am I Supposed To Be Jumping Around? The Sincere Fact Is My Happiness Does Not Depend On The Workforce Of Zylofon Media.”
Stonebwoy’s time at Zylofon Music became sour when fellow dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale was signed unto the label. It could be recalled that there was a nasty incident at the Champs Bar at Paloma in March this year where Stonebwoy fired a warning shot when Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson (Bulldog) allegedly tried to seize the dancehall act’s car keys.
This infuriated Stonebwoy stating that he had wanted to opt out of the contract but some of the issues were resolved so he had to stay.
Even though Stonebwoy won’t still disclose how long the deal was signed for, he said he believes strongly that some people at Zylofon Media always wanted him out of the deal.
According to Stonebwoy, he is not on good terms with Willi Roy and Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson aka Bulldog and disclosed that when his contract is over, “I will like to exit” unless there is something they can work on.
Stonebwoy joined Kumi Guitar and singer Becca, who were earlier signed before Gospel musician Joyce Blessing, rapper Obibini and dancehall act Shatta Wale joined.
