It’s quite normal especially in the entertainment industry when two artists are engaging in a brawl which is normally termed as ‘beefing’.
Most of these artists use the brawl to also create controversies as a means of promoting their brand and product.
Well, it seems that men of God do not want to be left out in the ‘beefing’ game as several pastors have been involved in several controversies.
Several men of God like Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah, Prophet Kumchacha, Rev Asanteman Obofour, Prophet Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, Angel Bishop Obinim among others have found themselves in one or two controversies in recent times.
However, Rev Obofour and Bishop Angel Daniel Obinim can be described as the “Kings of controversies” in the gospel fraternity.
It is known that the two popular men of God are arch-rivals and have always been throwing indirect jabs at each other in recent times.
Well, what is not known is that Rev Obofour and Angel Obinim used to be very good friends until the unfortunate happened and they turned ‘enemies’.
Rev Obofour in one of his submissions revealed that he use to have a good relationship with Obinim before he (Obofour) had intentions of setting up a church in Accra.
He explained that he used to be called Obinmp3 but had to change that name because their congregation had difficulties in differentiating between Obinim & Obinmp3.
He disclosed that he had a discussion with Angel Obinim about the name issue and decided to change his name to Obofour.

Well, Rev Obofour in explaining why his relationship with Angel Obinim turned sour, he disclosed that his former friend paid his kindness with betrayal.
The founder and leader of Anointed Palace Chapel disclosed that after Angel Obinim was arrested the second time he tried his best to be there for his friend and to support him through his difficult times but it was not appreciated.
He explained that he was given a cold reception by Angel Obinim’s wife, Junior Pastors and church members when he arrived at the police station where Obinim was held.
Obofour added that he was the only pastor who stood by Angel Obinim when he was arraigned before the court but he never appreciated his sacrifice.
According to Obofour, days after he was released Angel Obinim and his junior pastors rained insults on him and his wife which infuriated him and then cut all ties with him.
Since then, the two men of God have been at loggerheads with each other and continued to throw indirect jabs at each other.
There has always been some sort of competition between the two pastors as they have both bragged about being the richest pastors in Ghana.
