A few days ago, leader of Anointed Palace Chapel (APC) Rev. Obofour lost one of his most trusted junior pastors and right hand man to his arch rival, Bishop Obinim leader of International God’s Way Church.
According to reports the pastor known as Kelvin, went to Obinim pleaded with him to make him a pastor in his church for a reason best known to him.
He however failed to disclose the exact reason why he felt it was necessary to ditch Obofour for Obinim.
In a new development, Rev Obofour has reacted to this controversial defection. In a video sighted by Ghpage.com, Rev. Obofour referred to the now estranged Pastor as a prodigal son. He added that it’s no news when a pastor defects to another Pastor’s church.
He analogised the exit comparing it to hairdressers who get trained by their mistresses, and then when they finish learning, they move out to setup their own business and even end up becoming competitors with their mistresses.
He also likened his departure to football stars like Messi and Ronaldo. He said that they switch teams but that doesn’t mean they have become enemies with their former teams.

Obofour however did not reveal the exact reason why his junior pastor left. Obofour finally added that it shouldn’t be news when a pastor decides to leave or visit another church because all churches are the house of God.
