The controversial preacher and obvious supporter of the ruling NPP, Rev. Owusu Bempah is in a head-on collision with the family of late Captain Mahama after revealing God explained to him about the death of Captain Maxwell Mahama.
According to the leader and founder of Glorious Word Ministry International, the late Captain who is also the nephew of former President John Mahama’s death was an act of God.
Explaining further, Owusu Bempah claims Late Captain Mahama was killed because God is using it to punish not just Former President John Mahama but also his family for his “sins” committed prior to election 2016.

But the family of Late Captain Mahama is furiously angry with that revelation from the supposed man of God. In a press conference to address the issue last Saturday at the Burma Camp in Accra, Zakari Ahmed the spokesperson for the family said:
” Rev. Owusu Bempah must go and sleep where he slept again and seek more clarification from God”. “Your prophecy is a big lie”. ” God never revealed anything to him”.
“We feel what has happened can happen to anybody’s son. Nana Kwaku Bonsam [a fetish priest], we believe people like him will go to heaven. He even called to wish us well and not even Bempah”
“If Owusu Bempah will go on air and say that about Mahama [then] is a big lie and he should stop it… he only wants to seek attention and must stop it,” Ahmed stressed.
The 32 year-year-old military commander was murdered in a gruesome way by the residents of Denkyera-Boase. According to the residents, they mistook him for an armed robber after sighting a sidearm on him, lynched him and later torched his remains.

So far 32 people have been arrested by the police including the Assemblyman of the area who led the charge.
