The second lady Samira Bawumia has honored Ghanaian UK based gospel musician Sonnie Badu with a Doctorate in Divinity.
Sonnie Badu currently owns a foundation that caters to the needy and helps people reach their full potential in their various fields.And this has made him been in talks with the Second Lady over how best to develop and empower the youth in the country.

Sonnie was, however, invited by Samira Bawumia and honored with a Doctorate in Divinity for his progressive works.
The multiple award-winning musician was presented with a gold plaque by the Second Lady as he was deemed fit for the award following his far-reaching works in the country and on the continent.
