Mrs. Samira Bawumia, The wife of the Vice-President of Ghana, Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia after weeks silence on her husband’s sickness has finally broken silence.
Almost a week ago, Ghanaians were informed by the presidency that Dr. Bawumia is not feeling well and has been attended to by doctors and he was resting. Barely 48 hours after that announcement, Ghanaians were again informed that the Vice President has been taken to the UK for medical attention.

There have been a lot of conspiracy theories since he left. Whiles some were attributing his sickness to his workaholic attitude, others alleged that he collapsed at the Flagstaff House. Whatever ne the case, Samira Bawumia has spoken.
According to the second lady, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is doing very well and he will return to work very soon.

She also took the opportunity to thank Ghanaians for their good wishes, prayers, and support. In a Facebook post, Mrs. Bawumia wrote: “My husband and I are grateful to all Ghanaians and well-wishers from across the world for your prayers, support and best wishes.”
