Cameroonian football player, Samuel Eto’o Fils has made know his decision to retire from playing professional football after two decades in the game.
Taking to his Instagram handle to announce his decision, the 38-year-old posted a photo of himself and captioned it;
“The End. Towards a new challenge. Thank you all, big love.”

Samuel Eto’o last played for Qatar Star League side Qatar SC. He joined the club in 2018 after he left Turkish club, Konyaspor. Eto’o has played professional football for a total of 22 years.
Prior to his retirement, the Cameroon player played for teams such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter, Chelsea and Everton.
