Controversial dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah known in showbiz as Shatta Wale has referred to his colleague artistes, Sarkodie, and Kwaw Kese as poor.
Shatta said that in an interview with DJ Reuben on Kumasi based Luv 99.5 FM. The ‘believer’ crooner was reacting to a question asked by the host as to why a lot of the artists seems to be fighting him a lot.

He answered that most of the Ghanaian artiste is having so much ego in them which is not allowing them to see the business side of the music.
He said that he is doing something right which is about speaking about the problems the music industry is facing.
“I am talking about the problem that it is in the music industry that they know it’s a problem which they don’t want people to know, because when people know that right now Kwaw Kese is very poor, Sarkodie is poor….” He said.
And continued to say that..“Even Stonebwoy, Stonebwoy is on my label so at least, he gets some cash for there. He gets some Benz, 1,2,3..4. But the rest of them are poor and I am saying the poor because it is very very serious.”

He added that, the ‘poor’ musicians are hiding their situation because they dont want people to know their problem.
