Sarkodie reacts to the 'Yawa' Nigerians gave Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy

Sarkodie, the boss of Sarkcess Music has finally reacted to the terrible treatment meted out to Ghana’s ace artist, Shatta Wale, and Stonebwoy during the launch of Menzgold and Zylofon Media in Nigeria on 25th August 2018.

Speaking on Hitz FM with Andy Dosty, Sarkodie revealed that is exactly how Nigerians behaved towards him that made him nearly vowed never to step foot in Nigeria after his 3rd performance in the country.

“For my first 2, 3 times, I nearly said I will not go to Nigeria again. They are like that, even what you guys saw (during the official launch of Menzgold in Nigeria) was good”, Sarkodie said.

Sarkodie added that Nigerian media intentionally refuses to play Ghanaians song more than once to prevent people from getting used to the songs. Sark gave the hint to the media to start emulating the same attitude to push Ghana music.

“If your song is played once, it doesn’t mean the people will know it, but if it’s been rotated, that’s when the people will know it so they don’t do that, in their clubs, on the TV and radio,” Sarkodie added.
