See What Has Happened To Mahama After EOCO Arrest On Tuesday

The brother of the former president of Ghana, Mr Ibrahim Mahama who is also the owner of the construction company, Engineers, and Planners and recently commissioned Gyata Cement has been granted bail after an arrest on Tuesday by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).

The reasons for Mr Mahama’s arrest has not been officially made public but Information reaching Ghpage.com has it that, it’s in relation to an alleged dud cheque issued to the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) with regards to some goods cleared at the Tema Port.

He was reportedly granted bail after EOCO had interrogated him on Tuesday with regards to the cheque for the goods which were reportedly cleared in 2016.

The Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Mr Kennedy Agyapong has for several weeks alleged that Mr Ibrahim issued a dud cheque to the Customs division of the GRA.

Mr Agyapong has subsequently been on a media crusade on several platforms agitating that EOCO should investigate Mr Ibrahim.
