Sell my assets and pay Menzgold investors-NAM1 orders Ghana gov’t

Daily Guide newspaper has reported that Nana Appiah Mensah, CEO of Menzgold has ordered the government of Ghana, to sell his assets and use the proceeds to pay investors of menzgold customers who are screaming for his head.

But according to the report, the government is hesitant in selling the assets of Nana Appiah Mensah it has so far seized. Daily Guide newspaper states that the government wants Nana Appiah Mensah to put the request in writing for it to carry on with the request.

As at now, Nana Appiah Mensah is in Dubai prison awaiting his court appearance on 2nd February in Dubai court. However, the Police PRO has revealed the date might be wrong.

According to the authorities, Nana Appiah Mensah was arrested in Dubai in a gold business with an Arabian businessman which went wrong.

The Arabian is accusing Nana Appiah Mensah of duping his company to the tune of $51 Million dollars. He was arrested on 7th December 2018 and has been in custody since then.

Government powered delegation sent to Dubai to negotiate and extradite NAM1 failed because the Government of Ghana has no extradition agreement with the United Arab Emirates (UAE). United Arab Emirates authorities revealed they will only release NAM1 to Ghana after the court in Dubai rule on the case.
