Officials of the Bureau of National Investigation have confirmed the arrest of 39-year-old Sahadatu Abdul-Rahman, also known as Saharatu Adams Lizy.
She had just finished her wedding at the Bethel Prayer Ministry International Anomangye-Mpatasie in the Ashanti Region. She was arrested by the BNI while on honeymoon with her new husband at a secret location.

Adams Lizy had been evading security agencies. She is involved in a series of fraud cases around the country.
Several complaints have levelled against her concerning alleged fraudulent acts. She was arrested a day after her wedding while enjoying their honeymoon.
She allegedly duped market women in Tamale to the tune of millions of Ghana cedis and went into hiding.

She usually goes around collecting foodstuffs from market women pretending to supply the Ghana School Feeding Programme. She promised to pay them with interest but never did.
She was reported to the police and a search for her began. According to the police, she will be arraigned before court on eight counts of conspiracy to defraud by false pretences and defrauding by false pretences.
