Media personality Sammy Flex has made it clear that his desire to see dancehall artiste Shatta Wale at the Ghana Music Awards is purely his personal wish, not the artist’s.
Speaking in a recent interview, Sammy Flex said he hopes that Shatta Wale would one day reconsider his stance and grace the prestigious event.
However, he made it clear that the final decision rests with the musician.
“I would love to see Shatta Wale at the Ghana Music Awards, but that is my wish, not his. He has his reasons, and I respect them,” he stated.
Shatta Wale has been absent from the awards scheme for years due to his long-standing disagreements with the organizers, leaving followers divided on whether he should return.
