The self-acclaimed Dancehall King of Africa, Shatta Wale has spoken up against the abuse of tramadol which has seen a substantial surge in usage among the youth in Ghana lately.
Shatta Wale is the artist with the biggest followers in Ghana with most of them being youth. Most of his followers are also from the Ghettos who have been accused of abusing the drug mostly.

So it comes as good news that he being their president has openly spoken out against the abuse of the drug by the youth lately.
But what makes his new campaign ironical is the fact that Shatta Wale has accused other artists of teaching their fans to abuse drugs.

Shatta Wale is on record to have championed the abuse of weed among his fans and most often shows videos and photos of himself smoking in his studio. It, therefore, becomes some way if he blames other artists for negatively influencing their fans.
But does it matter? I don’t think so! The most important thing is that he has come to the realization that tramadol known in the streets as Tramol is killing the future of Ghana and he is ready and willing to do something about it. We will all support him.
