Popular Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale in an interview with Agyei Frimpong on Accra-based Onua 95.1 FM, revealed that he had visited several mallams for spiritual assistance but to no avail.
The self-acclaimed dancehall King further disclosed that he has visited several ‘mallams’, but none of them could provide the answers he sought.
According to him, it is God’s intervention that created opportunities for him. He further stated that the Word of God remains as it is, but the things of the world would always pass away.
“In life, you have to believe the maker; I know who I am, people don’t know their identity that’s why they fail in life”, he said.
Shatta Wale also admitted that there are a lot of spiritual forces in the world, yet he adviced his fellow musicians to desist from such ‘mallams’ as none of them could offer him help.

He went on to say that any artiste who believes such powers can provide solutions to challenges is merely being deceived.
“God needs your patience, your heart, you need to endure pain, God is bigger than everything and I believe God has made me who I am today”, he added.
