The father of self-acclaimed Dancehall King Shatta Wale, Shatta Capo has confirmed that indeed his son has been arrested and detained by the Tesano Police alongside his rival Stonebwoy.
Shatta Wale last Saturday during the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards stormed the stage after Stonebwoy had been announced as the Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the year his appearance on the stage caused confusion which marred the awards ceremony.
Yesterday, it was reported that the two artistes had been arrested by the police but both parties kept denying the report of their arrest.

Later in the day, Shatta Wale was calling for the arrest of Stonebwoy because he pulled a gun at him at the event.
Shatta Capo in an interview confirmed that indeed his son and Stonebwoy had been invited by the police and likely to spend the night behind bars.

It was in the evening that various news portal reported that the two had been invited to the Police Headquarters for questioning.
