Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale name would once again in the history of Ghana music go down as the one man who disrupted the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA).

Shatta Wale’s approach after his rival and labelmate Stonebwoy won Dancehall artiste of the year brought the show to the halt for some minutes because he tried storming the stage and was prevented by some security details of Stonebwoy.

This action generated into a fight on the stage and during that period the Ghana Police had to step in and in the process threw teargas and pepper spray was sprayed on some people including Shatta Wale’s dad Shatta Capo.

In a video available to, Shatta Capo could be seen cleaning the tears from his eyes due to the pepper spray.
