Ghana’s self-acclaimed Dancehall King, Shatta Wale has released another expensive music video for his single ‘Amount’ which is believed to be coming from his yet-to-be-released REIGN album set to hit the market in October.
Prior to the release of the video, Shatta Wale shared a couple of behind-the-scenes photographs and added captions that suggested that he was in South Africa shooting the music video for the then-unreleased single, Amount.
The expensive video which was premiered on Zylofon TV appears to be an ‘excerpt’ from the video of Davido and Nasty C’s ‘Coolest Kid in Africa’ directed by Sesan, the same director who shot ‘Gringo’ and ‘Amount’ music video.

It can clearly be seen that Sesan tried his best to cover this fact up by letting Shatta Wale splash some South Africa Rands to indicate that the location was indeed South Africa but careful watch of the video which has the same concept as Davido and Nasty C’s video shows that some effects were added to make it look as though Shatta Wale was also at the same location for the video, when in fact he was not.
Was this deliberate on the side of Sesan or a mere coincident? Watch the two videos below and draw your own conclusion…
