According to reports, Stonebwoy has abruptly broken his deal with Zylofon Media in less than a year under the record label.
The dancehall artiste, speaking in an interview disclosed that he would not have signed onto Zylofon Media if there was another Dancehall artiste signed onto the record label.
According to him, two artists doing the same genre of music cannot be signed onto one record label. This requires that either one of them part ways with the record to let peace reign and allow Zylofone Media maintain the good name they have acquired for themselves.
“You cannot have two number 11 playing the same game”, Stonebwoy stated.
He, however, indicated that Zylofon Media as a business entity has the right to sign a number of artists on the label because they have their priorities as an entity and therefore cannot be restricted from signing artists.
“Respect Zylofon and what they want to do because they are a company and have their own priorities. They can sign artists like they want to but ask me that if I would have signed onto Zylofon Media if there was another Dancehall artiste, I will say no”, he revealed.
