There have been speculations of an amorous relationship between SM boss, Shatta Wale and Rufftown Records signee, Wendy Shay. However, neither of the duo have ever come out to explicitly confirm or discredit the notion until now.

These speculations began when Wendy Shay and Shatta Wale collaborated on a project and start hanging out more often and posting it on Social media.
It further heightened when Shatta Wale bought a new Ferrari and invited Wendy Shay to come and cruise around in the new vehicle with him. In the video they shared on social media, they were seen being romantic that fans believed that the duo were actually an item.

They also made us believe that they were in a relationship after Shatta expressed his desire to marry Wendy Shay. To which Wendy Shay replied that she wouldn’t mind marrying Shatta Wale.
It all appears to be a publicity stunt as contrary to what their actions have made us assume, Wendy Shay has has declared that their relationship is merely a platonic one. She made this revelation in an interview on Zylofon FM.
According to her, Shatta Wale is more of a godfather figure in her life, nothing more, nothing less.
