Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has sent out a new directive to all events organizers who want to get him to perform outside Ghana.
According to the “Gringo” hitmaker, those show organizers must first go to the first man of the land President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo to seek his approval before coming to him for booking.
The main reason for this development according to him is because the President has banned ministers of state and other appointees from traveling outside Ghana and he feels he also falls in that category so they should first consult the President first for his approval.
Shatta Wale revealed this in a tweet he shared;
He posted “Only the president of Ghana approves my shows outside Ghana cos he says we the ministers can’t travel outside without approval …So please if you want to book me..Flagstaff house straight. I don’t want to lose my job Daddy I love you @NAkufoAddo”.
