Outspoken reggae-dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has reacted to CNN’s list of Africa’s biggest music stars where no Ghanaian musician was mentioned.
The “Melissa” hitmaker in a Facebook post took a swipe at the Ghana Music Industry, describing its players as stupid.
Shatta Wale also indirectly shaded Sarkodie for also not making CNN’s list of Africa’s biggest music stars.
Shatta Wale in his usual harsh way wrote on Facebook; “Now Ghana Music Industry you see how stupid you people are? All you guys care about is people personal lives and not our professional lives (music). Now your artists you paint to people no deh here, me too anode there.. You see how you fool ..mu maame tw3 Baako baako. Congrats to these arts…You just made me proud and me alone I say!!! Any station that discuss this should bow their ugly faces in a public toilet shame!!!”

This comes after American news-based television channel made a list of the top 10 Africa’s biggest music stars.
The list included Burna Boy, Angelique Kidjo, Diamond Platinumz, Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Mr. Eazi, Sho Madjozi, Busiswa Gqulu, and Mwila Musonda, aka Slapdee.
No Ghanaian artiste made it on the list which has sparked outrage on social media.
