Days after A-List Ghanaian artists were disgraced by Nigerians during the Zylofon Media and Menzgold launch in Nigeria, Shatta Wale has reacted to the embarrassment they received.
According to Shatta Wale in a tweet, the only way for Ghanaian artists to be respected and honor outside the borders of Ghana is for Ghanaian artists and their supports come together to support one another.
Shatta Wale also added that another way for the Ghana music industry to soar higher is with the immense support from Nana Appiah Mensah the CEO of Zylofon Media so he should be supported.
“The way is @mn_appiah ..Ghana artiste let’s come together la !! Support your own #Zylofon #Menzgold .. Proud Ghanaian artiste #YP #Thereign“.
A couple of days ago, the Zylofon Media team were in Nigeria with their boss to launch Zylofon Music and Menzgold. Among the artist present were, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Becca, Joyce Blessing, Kumi Guitar, and Obibini with few performances from Nigerian artists.
The Nigerians subjected the performances from Ghanaian artists to ridicule by completely avoiding them and acted like they were robots in the auditorium. It got so worse that When Stonebwoy was performing, the audience turned and showed their back to him almost throughout his performance.
The same treatment was meted out to Shatta Wale. Shatta Wale has to save face by inviting Nigerian artist, Burna Boy to the stage to perform with him. Immediately, they showed massive love but all the love was towards Shatta Wale and not even a glance at the Dancehall King.
Ghanaians have reacted angrily to this treatment to their artists and has vowed to pay back Nigerian artists whenever any of them come to Ghana to perform.
