Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artiste Theophilus Nii Arday Otoo known in the showbiz circles as Epixode has stated that it wasn’t a good idea for Stonebwoy & Shatta Wale to settle their beef.

According to Epixode, the music rivalry between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy was good for the music industry.

The “Avatar” hitmaker further stated that rivalry in the dancehall genre is the culture and makes the music industry interesting.

Epixode added that since the two dancehall artists made peace, it has made the industry dull and is no more entertaining.

“You can’t stop it, that is the culture. You can never take rivalry out of dancehall. The ‘beef’ is good for business. It is not violence but music rivalry. The absence of the ‘beef’ is not spicing up the music industry”, Epixode stated.

He explained that the fans of these dancehall artists are the ones who make the rivalry violent and that they can be controlled.

Epixode further refuted claims that he has a ‘beef’ with fellow dancehall artiste and former label mate, Jupiter.

According to him, the tension between both of them was a fan-based beef and it was never personal.
