Shatta Wale on stage at the Accra Sports Stadium recently during the ‘S Concert’ lined up some top and old-age Ghanaian musicians who are ‘broke’ and can’t even boast of cars and houses during and after the peak of their careers.

He made this statement in an attempt to shut down his critics saying, people envy and criticize him all because he always says the truth.

“People envy me because of the truth. You see VVIP, Tic Tac, Lord Kenya, Obrafour them. Have you ever heard they bought house, cars…?,” Wale queried.

However, reacting to this ill-talks on Monday, VVIP Prodigal in an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM said he believes some unknown people are using Shatta Wale to cause such blowup in the entertainment industry.

He accepted that the self-acclaimed dancehall king is suffering from a serious ‘mental problem, bipolar or a spiritual illness.’

Prodigal further added that, even though he had played many important roles in Shatta Wale’s music career, he will never issue any hatred on him but rather love him.

“They need to pray for Shatta Wale. They are using him to get to other people. There is no way on earth that I will hate him. I respect him, I don’t like his ways now. He is moving in the wrong direction. He is a talented musician and breadwinner…,” he said.

He again pleaded on the members of the music industry to unite and also urged various event organizers to respect other musicians’ brand.
