It wasn’t a news that Wizkid and Shatta Wale were sworn enemies so one could only wonder how Ghana meets Naija 2018 musical concert was going to play out yesterday, at the Fantasy Dome at the Trade Fair in Accra.
Shatta Wale had stated that he doesn’t see the Nigerian act as a star and according to him, he is overrated.

That statement resulted in a lot of controversies with shots being thrown at each other — With the fans most involved at that particular time.
Although Wizkid was silent on the matter, he gave Shatta Wale shout-out during the launch of the 8th edition of Ghana Meets Naija but that did not serve notice of a possible reunion at the main event.
Midway through his performance, Wizkid paused and invited Shatta Wale on to the stage even though the latter was not billed to perform on the night.
Shocked by the act, the audience screamed, stood on their chairs, pulled out their phones to capture the moment.
Shatta Wale and Wizkid exchanged pleasantries after which Wale performed his hit song ‘Gringo’ and exited the stage for the ‘Starboy’ to continue with his performance.

The international act amongst others like Mayorkun, Mr. Eazi etc on the Nigerian side and Stonebwoy, Kidi, Kuami Eugene, Patapaa, on the Ghanaian side performed at the event.
Shatta Wale was just the surprising act.
