Shatta Wale explains how he met Nana Appiah Mensah & why he joined Zylofon [+Photos]

Now every music lover and creative art fan knows that Shatta Wale has been signed unto Zylofon Media, the fastest growing Media company in Africa. The Signing and unveiling of Shatta Wale as a Zylofon artist was done today, 31st January 2018.

Now, Shatta Wale, the self-acclaimed Dancehall King joins Stonebwoy, Becca, Kumi Guitar, Obibi, and Joyce Blessing as artists signed on Zylofon Media label.

Shatta Wale is signed unto Zylofon Media in 3 years undisclosed package. Meanwhile, Zylofon will be in charge of his recording, producing, distribution, and promotion of Shatta Wale.

During the signing and unveiling ceremony, Shatta Wale gave a weird revelation on how he met Nana Appiah Mensah and why he joined Zylofon when Nana Appiah Mensah, the Zylofon CEO invited him.

According to Wale, he disguised himself once and stepped out to avoid being recognized by his millions of fans. He fell sick on the way, and Nana Appiah Mensah came to his rescue. Shatta Wale narrated:

“You know there was this time, I was feeling sick and tired from all of the work that I put into my business and that day, I decided to leave my boys in the studio and drive around town, disguised to release some of the stress.”

“Then all of a sudden, I felt like vomiting and so I parked my car and started vomiting. Then all of a sudden, someone flashes a head light on me, a man comes out to me and asks if I was Ok and if there was anything, he could do to help me.”

“He offered to take me to the pharmacy to get me some drugs and then take me to the hospital. I was in a cap, so I raised my face only for him, to realize it was me, Shatta Wale.”

“He wanted to help me even when he had not noticed I was Shatta. He still offered to assist me to get home and took my number, so he could check up on me.”

“We then started talking and became friends, then one day he told me, he doesn’t want me to get tired anymore, so I should join his company so he takes care of things.”

As to when this happened, Shatta didn’t disclose and why of all the people in town, Nana Appiah Mensah was the only one who came to his rescue is baffling (Some are saying it’s a Kwaku Ananse Story…lol)
