One major history Shatta Wale made with Reign Album launch was when the first copy of his album was bought for GH¢150,000 by a die-hard fan of Shatta Wale.
Actually, Shatta Wale offered the first copy for sale at GH¢100,000 but this gentleman and his wife walked up to the stage and offered to buy it for GH¢150,000 that is 1.5 billion old cedis because “Shatta Wale deserves more than the amount he is requesting”.

Well, Ghpage.com has discovered the identity of the man who together with his wife bought the album for that whopping amount.
He is known in private life as Nana Yaw Duodu but popularly known as Sledge and he is a very successful businessman in Ghana. He holds a degree in marketing from a respected university in the UK.

Sledge, Ghpage.com has gathered is the president and chief executive officer of Goldridge Ghana Ltd, a gold dealership company. Currently, Sledge is in league with the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources to develop innovative solutions for Small Scale Miners.
Besides the Goldridge Ghana Ltd, Sledge is also the chief executive officer of Silver City Real Estate. Silver City Real Estate, is currently building a real estate in the Community 18 area in the Tema metropolis.

It is worthy to note that, Nana Yaw Duodu aka Sledge has a partnership since 2017 to solve the perennial flooding in the city with the Tema Metropolitan Assembly.
Ghpage.com has also discovered that Sledge and his wife are also known as the Shatta Couple among the Shatta Movement family.

Shatta Wale’s Reign Album was held at the Fantasy Dome inside the Trade Fair Center, Accra on 13 October 2018 and thousands of people showed up to support the SM boss.
