Social media users have lambasted the MP for Awutu Senya Constituency Hawa Koomson, Nana Akuffo Addo and the NPP for jeopardizing the lives of Ghanaians.
Mavis Hawa Koomson, particularly, has been heavily castigated for pulling a gun and firing warning shots at a registration center at Kasoa.
The Member of Parliament reportedly went to a voters registration center in her constituency on Monday, July 20, 2020, carrying a gun which she ended up firing.
The MP and Minister of Special Development Initiative admitted to carrying and shooting the firearm for protection against some ”thugs” causing a commotion at the center.
Members of the public have since requested that she resigns immediately for endangering the lives of citizens all in the name of self-protection.
Her actions coupled with Carlos Ahenkorah showing up to a voters registration center after being diagnosed with COVID-19 seems to prove that the NPP are prepared to win the election at all cost.
Many have called the President and the NPP power chasers who are power-drunk and would go to all lengths to regain power even to the detriment of precious lives.
