Ghpage.com few days ago reported the death of Generation ace actor Joe Mafela whose death was caused by a traffic motor accident on sunday.
The late legendary actor Joe Mafela’s family wanted his memorial to be held at Grace Bible Church in Pimville, Soweto, but after they contacted the church,they were shocked with how much the church charged and so had to look for an alternative venue for the memorial.
“The Grace Bible Church wanted a fee of R89,000 for the memorial. When the head pastor (Musa) Sona was consulted, he offered a R10k discount.”
“Needless to say there was no deal as this was totally ridiculous. This is supposed to be a ‘house of God’ serving the community,” wrote actor Mangaliso Ngema on his social media earlier to comment on a meeting between the family and the church.
