Former majority leader who doubled as a Member of Parliament for Suame Constituency, Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu has added his scent to the Obuasi brouhaha.
The diligent politician was speaking on Lawson FM/ TV today, Monday, January 20 when he decided to wade into the ongoing brouhaha.
Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, after sending his condolences to the bereaved families of the victims and the people of the Obuasi community stated that he does not understand why despite the free and fair election, and smooth transition of power, some of these things would continue to occur.
He believes that it would have been a normal thing if the election was rigged, or better still, there was no smooth transition of power.
However, Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah used the opportunity to lambast some media personalities for being the catalyst of this among another incident.
According to him, some media personalities have been fueling some of these incidents, claiming it is high time journalists got to know what they need to do, and what they should not.
