Mother of Ghanaian hip hop musician Medikal has warned critics to stop referring to her son as a ‘fraud boy’.
According to Madam Portia Lamptey, her son is really hardworking who has other businesses aside from music.

Madam Portia also added that she gets worried when her son is tagged as a fraud boy because he worked really hard to achieve everything he has now.
 “I get soo worried when people refer to my son as a fraud boy. Medikal is not a fraud boy when I hear stories like that, I get soo worried and disturbed.
He works so hard for everything he’s enjoying now. Medikal does other business aside music, he’s now an ambassador of a mobile company as well. Fraud is out”, she stated.

She recently revealed in an interview that she wanted her son Medikal originally known as Samuel Adu Frimpong to become a doctor but he had the passion for rap and pursued it.
She also disclosed that the ‘Omo Ada’ hitmaker was expelled from school due to his interest in rap.
