My songs can be classified as Highlife asorkpor – Patapaa

Swedru-based and “One corner” hitmaker Patapaa aka Patapeezy has revealed the type of music genre he does.

Ghanaians have been wondering the kind of music genre he has been doing since he always said he his a highlife artiste but the kind of music he does are all not high life.

But speaking on Angel TV in an interview, Patapaa revealed that his songs are all high life asorkpor. According to him, before he became a household name, he had recorded several songs but all couldn’t get him into the limelight until he dropped “One Corner”.

“One Corner was an experiment of fusing Hiplife with traditional dance music. I showed the song to a few people and they encouraged me to continue on that path rather than the highlife and surprisingly it worked out,” he said
