Ebony as a younger artist has been tagged as a dirty and indecent singer due to her non-cultural style of dressing and performances whenever she faces the mass on stage at any events.
The 90s bad girl recent criticisms came base on her stage dressing and performance at the 4Syte Music Video awards where a photo of her bootylicious body including her private part was captured.
Ghanaians after the 4Syte indecent exposure blasted her for such a nudity attitude on the basis of our moral and cultural grounds.
However, some people quickly came to her defense claiming that she is doing something which seems right for her musical talent and needs the total support of Ghanaians.
Now, a popular personality to be on the defensive line for Ebony is inspirational gospel composer, Sonnie Badu.
The ‘Okokoroko’ hitmaker discouraged Ghanaians to stop their hypocritical attitude towards the fashion style of the female dancehall artiste.
Sonnie Badu in his statement hinted that Ebony in her own way is doing something great which needs the total support of Ghanaians to enable her to develop and polish that talent, but criticizing and tagging her with all sort of naughty names wouldn’t add anything valuable to her career.
“Every individual has his/her way of doing things so we don’t need to judge people. All Ebony needs is love, not insults because she is indeed a great talent, although she is known for half-n*ked dressing, she didn’t dress that way when she launched her album recently, and that is why there is the need to know why she sometimes dresses that way before you criticize her” He said.
He added that dancehall artist is blessed with great talent which needs the support and massive encouragement from Ghanaians.
