Ghanaian Dancehall superstar, Stonebwoy has called on his fans, bloggers and the entire country to support him in his quest to put Ghana on the map like they did and are still doing for Patapaa, the “One Corner” hitmaker.

According to Stonebwoy in a live video held on his IG handle a few moments ago, it is not always the media must push negative stories about him and other artists, something he claims they have been doing more often of late.

Stonebwoy revealed that he had a conversation with a blogger some time ago on why his positive works are not getting traction like the negative ones and the person suggested to him to rely on publicists to push his work out there.

But, he disagrees because it’s not always publicists deliver on paid promotions. Besides, people like Patapaa made it big not because of any PR work but basically because the people supported him wholeheartedly.

Stonebwoy who is currently on “Shuga tour” in Europe added that it will do a whole lot of good if fans and bloggers concentrate on the positive work he is doing and give him the support to blow like the Nigerian counterparts lol Davido and Wizkid enjoy from their home country.

Before this live video, Stonebwoy had already expressed his displeasure of how his positive works are not being pushed by bloggers but the negative ones get free promotion.

According to him, the media wants him and other artists to pay before they publish the positive vibes but they push the negative ones at no cost.

Stonebwoy tweeted:

Just had a convo with one blogger.. it’s interesting to know that if it’s positive news you have to pay but it’s bad news. they’ll push it for free! And why didn’t you travel with a publicist!! Asem o…. ??!!
