Stonebwoy, speaking in an interview on Accra-based Okay FM, indicated that he was going to outdoor Shatta Wale’s new name which is called “Corporal Nii”.
According to the BET award winner, it was the name of which he (Shatta Wale) was referred to by his fans. He, however, indicated that the “outdooring ceremony” was going to take place only after Shatta Wale had come out to outdoor the “Sergeant Lee” name as attributed in his song.

Shatta Wale, reacting to Stonebwoy’s statement, called him a ‘joker’.To Shatta, he would appreciate it if Stonebwoy gave him a better name instead and went on to pay credence to the “Gbee Naabu” name given to him by musician Yaa Pono as being ‘a bit okay’ than the proposed ‘Corporal Nii’.
Later on, Shatta came to admit on Abeiku Santana’s show on Okay Fm that the “Sergeant Lee” in his popular “Taking Over” song was no other than his industry rival, Stonebwoy.
