Actor, movie producer, and writer David Dontoh has asked that Shatta Wale and his arch-rival Stonebwoy should be severely punished for the disgraceful act they both put up on the VGMA stage last Saturday.
According to him, punishing these two artistes would serve as a deterrent to other artistes and upcoming musicians who also would one day try to do the same in the future.
He went on to state that though the two were wrong, he believed Shatta Wale had no business going on stage without being invited according to ethics regulating stagecraft.

“If you are not a performer, you have no right to be backstage let alone on the stage. Because it’s an event that you are presenting and not just people just walking there hence if you have not been called or invited to come on stage you have no business or so ever to be there” he said in an interview.
Since the fracas, most people have called for authorities to sanction the two artistes especially Stonebwoy who pulled a gun at the auditorium after Shatta Wale and his SM fans decided to unlawfully climb the stage.
The Ghana Police invited them on Sunday where they spent the night there. They were later processed before the court and both charged with GHC 50,000 bail with one surety to be of good behavior.

But Charter House yesterday in a press conference stripped the two off their awards in this year’s event and also banned them indefinitely for their disgraceful acts.
