“Stop Playing Songs From Sarkodie And Shatta Wale” – Koo Ntakra Hits The Media

Up and coming Ghanaian hiplife rapper well-known by many as Koo Ntakra is appealing to all the media houses especially with the Television and Radio presenters to mainly center on promoting the upcoming artists by playing their songs.

Speaking in an interview with Eddy Blay on eTV’s “The Late Night Celebrity Show”, the talented rapper suggested that the media should stop playing songs from the already made musicians and play the songs from the upcoming ones.

“Stop playing songs from Sarkodie and Shatta Wale and play songs by the upcoming artiste,” he said.

Koo Ntakra further added that the upcoming artists have an understanding lyrics in their songs, unlike others who just compose to make noise.

He said they will be the head and toe of the entertainment industry in the future when the likes of Sarkodie and the rest fade out from the system.

“We the upcoming will take over if the likes of Sarkodie and Shatta Wale retire or are no more so of what use will it be if we are not receiving the necessary support,” he added.

The MTN hitmaker winner again proposed that a law could be passed to defend that effect because the upcoming artists in a way or the other struggle before they can promote their music.

“A law should be passed to help the upcoming artiste because before winning MTN hitmaker 2, one coca cola was all I got when I performed at weddings or parties,” he mentioned.
