Brilliant students from Mamfe Akuapem Methodist Girls Senior High Schol in the Eastern Region of Ghana have won the 2019 World’s Robotics competition in Michigan, USA
This year’s ROBOFEST is the 20th edition of the competition which focuses on robotic driven approach in solving tasks and Mamfe Akuapem Methodist Girls SHS emerged the ultimate winner in the competition.

Before going to the world stage, Methodist Girls SHS (MEGHIS) triumphed from the preliminary contests held in Ghana among all the top senior high schools.

Students from Mamfe Methodist Girls win World’s Robotics competition in Michigan, USA
The annual competition in Ghana, under the code name; Robotics Inspired Science Education, (RISE) is organized by Ghana Robotics Academy Foundation founded by Dr. Ashitey Trebi-Olenu.
The task that was given MEGHIS during the world competition comprised building a robot to arrange boxes according to a Binary Number Given. This Binary Number is unveiled when all robots are impounded.
Mamfe Akuapem Methodist Girls SHS from Ghana competed with participants from countries such as Japan, China, Kora, the United States of America, Mexico, South Africa, etc.
