There is a new update on the kidnapping of 3 girls from Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana. According to the Regional command, another suspect in the kidnapping has been arrested today and just like the prime suspect in custody, she is also a Nigerian.
In a press briefing the Western Regional Police Commander, DCOP Redeemer Vincent Dedjoe revealed that the second kidnapper is called Emily Alimo and just like the prime suspect, Samuel Willis, she is also a Nigerian.

The police traced Emily Alimo through a message correspondence between her and Samuel Willis. The 3 girls, Priscilla Blessing Bentum, 21; Ruth Love Quayson, 18; and Priscilla Koranchie, 15. were kidnapped in December 2018.
In a previous press meeting an earlier, the police command revealed the girls had an acquaintance with the prime suspect, Samuel Willis and he lured them with jobs and mobile phone.

Samuel promised the old two girls a secured and well-paying job as a bait whiles he promised to provide a mobile phone for the 3rd girl.
“Before his [the accused] arrest what actually happened was that there was a catalog of calls between the accused person and victim(s) which were analyzed and the police established a connection of the accused person to the three kidnap cases,” DCOP Dedjoe told the press
Despite the families of the girls paying the ransom, the kidnappers have refused to release the girls to their family. Already there is a social media campaign with the #BringBackOurTaadiGirls going viral on all the platforms.
