Sensational Kumawood actor, Kwaku Manu has trolled NPP top member, Gabby Otchere-Darko over his cynical comments about the Ghanaian movie industry some few months ago.

Gabby Otchere-Darko recently on social media expressed his displeasure in watching some Ghanaian movies.

The popular member of the New Patriotic Party said he felt daunted after watching 10 random Ghanaian movies.

“I took my time to watch randomly ten Ghanaian movies and never felt so disappointed,” he posted on Facebook.

According to Gabby, after watching the movies, he remembered his low economic country and realized that the Creative Art Industry is one of the major deficiencies in its development.

“It brought home to me one major deficiency in our development. The apparent lack of deliberate consciousness on the part of the creative industry in the development conversation,” Gabby added.

However, Kwaku Manu speaking on the matter with Yvonne Okoro on “Dining with cooks and braggarts”, stated that if Gabby Otchere Darko does not have any help for the industry, he should forever hold his comments.

The top Kumawood actor further hit on the fact that it is crazy for any individual to compare Ghana’s poor industry to that of Hollywood that has all the funding and needed equipment for work.
