Video: Two Tamale Technical University Students Arrested Over The Murder Of A Pastor

Dojie Kwame, 28, and Akwasi Bio, 18, two male students of the Tamale Technical University have been arrested in connection with the murder of a head pastor.

The head pastor of End Time Believers Fellowship, Pastor Ocran Ebenezer was attacked and gruesomely murdered with a pestle by unknown assailants at his private home in Kumbihiyi near Malshegu in the metropolis.

The murderers made away with a Blue Toyota Highlander vehicle with a registration number, GN 1764-14 belonging to the pastor as well as an unspecified amount after killing the pastor.

The case was reported to the police by another pastor. However, the police got informed by an informant that some people have brought the car to a fitting shop to be re-sprayed a different color and to be sold at Lamashegu Industrial area. The owner of the shop (The informant) called the police after he suspected the car is a stolen car.

The two students of Tamale Technical University were then arrested when they arrived after the informant told them someone wanted to buy the vehicle.Dojie Kwame was identified as a co-tenant of the murdered pastor and the one who brought the vehicle and asked that it should be put up for sale.

According to the police, Djie Kwame confessed to the crime of killing the head pastor but his cousin and suspected accomplice, Akwasi Abio vehemently denied any involvement in killing
