A Taxi Driver in Cape Coast in the Central Region of Ghana has done what most people thought was impossible. Most often than not, when a passenger forgets his or her item in a Taxi, forget ever finding it.
But a Passenger in Cape Coast left his bag of money in a Taxi and the honest Taxi driver has done the right thing by returning it to the police station to be given to the rightful owner.

Confirming the news to the media, DSP Irene Oppong, regional public affairs director of the police revealed the driver (name withheld) returned the bag of money to the Regional Headquarters at Pedu Junction.
“The driver came to lodge a complaint that he picked a male passenger from Aquarium to Abura. On reaching the destination the passenger left his money in the car,” she revealed.

From the report, even the police were shocked when the gentleman returned the money and went his way. The police have since made an announcement for the rightful owner to come and make identifications and take away his money.
